Man critical in shooting at gas station on southwest side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man was critically injured in a shooting at a gas station on the city’s southwest side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Just before 7 p.m. Saturday, IMPD Southwest District officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 4700 block of Kentucky Avenue. That is the location of a Marathon gas station near Indianapolis International Airport on the city’s southwest side. A 911 caller advised that there was a person down in the gas station’s parking lot. Officers arrived to the scene and found a man with gunshot wounds.
The injured man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition…
