EPA says Indiana naval site mishandled waste and explosives
CRANE, Ind. (WISH) – Federal regulators say an Indiana naval installation mishandled hazardous waste and explosives, posing potential risks to the environment.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sent a notice of potential violations to the commanding officer of the U.S. Naval Support Activity Crane Division (NSA Crane) in September, ahead of filing an official administrative complaint.
