CVS Employees Shot, Eventually Rescued By Gunshots of Coworker’s Boyfriend

What began as an ordinary Tuesday evening inside an Indianapolis CVS spiraled into chaos, gunfire, and bloodshed — leaving two pharmacy workers wounded and a suspect fighting for his own life, police say.

The violence erupted just after 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 7, at a CVS on the city’s east side. According to a probable cause affidavit filed Oct. 14, it all started over a pair of pain prescriptions.

Terry Rowe Jr. and his wife arrived at the pharmacy to pick up two medications, but when employees told them that only one was ready, Rowe’s temper exploded. Witnesses said he unleashed a torrent of insults at one of the technicians, identified as “DJ” in court documents…
