Indianapolis church leaders retire after 35 years of service

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Rev. Dr. Clarence Moore, the pastor of New Era Church, and its first lady, Hope Moore, are retiring after 35 years of service.

The Moores have been instrumental in developing a holistic ministry that addresses spiritual, financial, emotional, educational, and relational needs. The church is at 517 W. 30th St., just west of the street’s I-65 underpass.

Clarence founded the Northside New Era Outreach Corp. and co-founded the Ten Point Coalition, while Hope developed one of Indiana’s leading children’s ministries…
