(Whitewater Valley)–Some new population projections issued by the state show some shocking numbers for Indiana counties in our area. According to Stats Indiana, which is Indiana’s Public Data Utility, Wayne County is now projected to lose almost 7600 residents in the next 25 years. The largest decrease in population is projected to be people under the age of 24. Randolph County is expected to lose a larger percentage, with 18% of its population expected to be gone by 2050.
