INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 41-year-old man has been arrested for attempted murder and unlawful possession of a firearm for his alleged role in a double shooting on Bailey Drive.
On Friday, at 11:10 p.m., officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a home in the 1500 block of Bailey Drive on a report of a “shots fired,” “person shot,” and “gunshot scene unsafe.” That’s in the Highland Heights housing addition off West Washington Street just north of Indianapolis International Airport. Officers arrived and found two men in critical condition with gunshot wounds.
Investigators believe a domestic issue led to the shooting. Multiple people, including two children younger than 5, were inside the home during the shooting. Investigators found one gun inside the home and another firearm outside the home…
