ELBERFELD, Ind. (WISH) — A woman’s body found Sunday afternoon near a boat ramp in the Indiana Blue Grass Fish & Wildlife Area is being investigated as a suspicious death, Indiana State Police said in a series of news releases.
Details were few about the reason that investigators believe the death to be suspicious, but foul play was suspected, the release said.
On Monday afternoon, state police said the woman had been positively identified, but did not share any details on her identity. The woman had been described as aged in the late teens to early 30s, with dark hair, approximately 5 feet tall and weighing around 130 pounds.
