Snow and cold settle into Indiana for a few days

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) –  Much colder air moves in for the next few days.

Snow chances will be possible Sunday with accumulations in northern Indiana. The bitter blast is short-lived as Indiana will warm back up late in the week.

SUNDAY: Rain showers changing over to some snow showers heading into the afternoon. Indiana has already reached its high temperature for the day. Readings will fall into the 30s later Sunday afternoon. Look for mostly cloudy skies and some light snow showers possible. Winds will be brisk out of the northwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts near 30 mph.

SUNDAY NIGHT: A few flurries will be possible with higher snow accumulations in northern Indiana. It will be breezy and cold. Low temperatures will fall into the middle 20s. Winds will gust at times to near 25 mph, allowing windchill values to fall into the teens.

MONDAY:  The kiddos need to bundle up at the bus stop in the morning. Windchill values will be into the teens thanks to a gusty wind out of the northwest from 20-25 mph. It will be mostly cloudy with a few flurries possible and chilly throughout the afternoon. High temperatures only into the middle 30s…
