Indy Parks offers free meals and groceries to Marion County residents

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Marion County residents who need a free meal or some help stocking their shelves can turn to the Indy Parks Meals Program for help.

Since 2013, the Indy Parks Meals Program has served over 3 million meals. In 2023, Indy Parks provided 191,396 meals to people across the Circle City.

Indy Parks offers food pantries and after school meal service for kids 18 and under, and its Second Helpings program provides free meals and sandwiches. and free meals and sandwiches are available through its Second Helpings program. Its Drive & Dish Program, which allows residents to order groceries once a week and then pick them up at a park, is at capacity and not accepting new participants at this time.

  • Riverside Park Food Pantry – 2420 Riverside E. Dr.: Wednesday, 12:45-3 p.m.
  • Windsor Village Park Food Pantry – 6510 E, 25th St.: Thursday, 1-3 p.m.

After School Meal Service

Indy Parks’ free after school meal service is open to all youth 18 and under. They must be present and eat the meal on-site. Meals are available Monday through Friday. No registration is necessary…
