INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A crawdad abandoned at an Indianapolis pet store has finally found its “snappy” ending after being taken in by a caretaker at IACS.
Indianapolis Animal Care Services told News 8 Thursday the cold-water crawdad was one of several animals dumped at a PetSmart at Washington Street and Mitthoefer Road on Friday.
The manager told animal control officers that a male and a female rushed into the store, dumped the crawdad, two mice, a hamster, and a guinea pig on the counter, then sprinted away. The animals were lined up in a shopping cart when officers arrived…
