INDIANAPOLIS – A fire significantly damaged a home on Indy’s northwest side Sunday night, displacing three people and several pets.
According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, crews were dispatched around 9:25 p.m. Sunday to a home in the 3900 block of Lawndale Avenue.
Firefighters encountered heavy flames and smoke pouring from the single-story residence. IFD said a neighbor alerted the occupants about the fire, allowing them to escape.
The fire displaced three adults and several pets. No one was hurt, IFD said…
