INDIANA — The LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash that left two men dead Friday night in Kankakee Township.
Authorities responded around 9 p.m. to the intersection of State Road 2 and County Road 500 East, where they found both drivers deceased.
According to investigators, a truck driven by 42-year-old Matthew J. Turner of Crawfordville, Florida, was traveling east in the westbound lane of State Road 2 when it collided head-on with a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Michael S. Munroe of Lansing, Illinois…
