Indiana Thanksgiving Weather Forecast Details
The National Weather Service office out of Indianapolis is warning that a large portion of the state could be facing snow, ice, and strong winds over the holiday and into the weekend. The forecast outlines a cold front pushing in overnight Wednesday with winds reaching 40-50 mph, as well as the possibility of snow flurries.
What the National Weather Service Expects This Weekend
Unfortunately, that weather system is just the start. A more significant event is expected to move in Friday night into Sunday and is expected to bring with it accumulating snow. They say portions of Indiana, particularly north of I-70 could be impacted more heavily.
