US 31 southbound reopens at 236th Street amid criminal investigation

BAKERS CORNER, Ind. (WISH) — U.S. 31 southbound reopened Tuesday night at the 236th Street interchange in Hamilton County after authorities searched for a male with a rifle who made criminal threats, the sheriff’s office said.

Police were called sometime after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the home at 22730 U.S. 31, where the male was seen on the second floor making threats with a gun toward a witness outside.
