Staying safe on Blackout Wednesday

Blackout Wednesday is a night of gathering with friends, with some drinking heavily ahead of Thanksgiving.

Police say its a night when they watch for more drunk drivers on the road, often times coordinating as departments to keep everyone as safe as possible.

“We’re trying to get as many impaired drivers off the road as possible … Thankfully, it’s not just us out here. There’s a lot of the local agencies, the county departments, the police departments, we are very fortunate that in this area, we have a very good teamwork ethic, that it’s not just us, it’s, it’s a big group of departments that work together,” Indiana State Police Trooper Morgan Robbins said…
