Federal records find 165 noncitizens registered to vote in Indiana

21 illegal votes casts by noncitizens in recent Indiana elections

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Federal records confirm that at least 165 noncitizens registered to vote in Indiana, with 21 casting ballots in recent elections, said a news release issued Wednesday afternoon from the offices of the Indiana secretary of state attorney general.

The release did not say when the votes were cast. About 3 million votes were cast in Indiana during the 2024 presidential election.
