INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis fitness influencer has been charged with multiple felony counts of child seduction following an investigation involving a 16 year old girl – the influencer’s stepdaughter, according to a social media post.
Brian Kyle Divine, 44, who operates online under the name Kaizen DIY Gym with more than 100,000 social media followers, was arrested last week at a home on the city’s north side. Court records show he was formally charged Monday, Dec. 1 with six felony counts related to allegations that he engaged in sexual activity with a minor after providing her with alcohol and drugs.
Indianapolis police were called to the residence Nov. 26 to investigate a reported sexual assault. Officers located Divine in the basement of the home and took him into custody.
Detectives later interviewed the teenage victim, who reported three separate sexual encounters with Divine. According to the investigation, the girl had been helping Divine set up a home gym at a west-side warehouse. She told officers that during one of those workdays in October, Divine allegedly provided her with beer and vodka before initiating sexual contact.
