Indiana flags at half-staff for Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WEVV) — Gov. Mike Braun has ordered flags across Indiana to be flown at half-staff on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, in honor of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

Flags should be lowered from sunrise to sunset at state facilities. Braun also urged all Hoosiers, businesses, and organizations to participate in the tribute by lowering their flags.

“December 7th is a day of remembrance to honor the 2,400 Americans who lost their lives at Pearl Harbor and the 400,000 Hoosiers who answered the call to defend freedom in World War II,” Braun said. “Their courage changed the course of history. I encourage every Hoosier to take a moment tomorrow to lower their flags and reflect on the extraordinary sacrifices made to preserve our nation.”…
