An Indianapolis man is fighting for his life in critical condition after police say he was shot by his wife, in an incident that also involved their two children being present at the time of the shooting. As reported by FOX59, the shooting occurred at their residence in the 5000 block of West Caven Street shortly before 12:40 a.m. yesterday.
WISH-TV noted that the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to the call, discovering the man outside the residence with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the violent nature of the event, thankfully, their 15-year-old and 6-year-old children were not harmed. The man was subsequently transported to Eskenazi Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The circumstances that led to the shooting are still under investigation by local authorities.
