INDIANA — A man was killed early Wednesday morning after being struck by two vehicles on U.S. 35 North near Richmond, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the area in front of Love’s Truck Stop around 6 a.m. on December 10. When they arrived, they found a man lying in the roadway with severe injuries. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene. Investigators are still working to confirm his identity.
According to the sheriff’s office, a southbound driver said the collision happened suddenly and that he did not see the man before impact. A second vehicle traveling northbound also struck the victim after the first collision…
