INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — According to Indiana Department of Homeland Security, 19 out of Indiana’s 92 counties are under a travel watch – meaning that Hoosiers should only travel if essential.
The dangerous cold from Saturday’s storm has slammed central Indiana with all things from icy roadways to snow covered roads and subzero wind chills.
Counties among the watch include:

- Brown
- Clay
- Decatur
- Franklin
- Hamilton
- Hancock
- Hendricks
- Jackson
- Jennings
- Johnson
- Ohio
- Owen
- Parke
- Ripley
- Shelby
- Switzerland
- Wabash
- Warren
