Influx of teens at central Indiana libraries causing problems, prompting new policies

CARMEL, Ind. — Some libraries in Marion and Hamilton counties are seeing an influx of teens, and not all of them are quietly checking out books.

A fight between high schoolers broke out Tuesday in a large community room of the Carmel Clay Public Library. A video of the fight appears to show a supervisor trying to de-escalate the situation before a couple of punches are thrown and a girl is forcefully pushed to the ground.
