An early morning shooting on Indianapolis’ northwest side took the life of a 23-year-old man this past Saturday. According to WTHR, the incident was reported just after 2 a.m. in the 3900 block of Bonn Drive. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrived to find the young man, later identified as Keymanee Rippy, shot inside a home and pronounced dead at the scene.
During the investigation, authorities reported a missing family from the residence where Rippy’s body was found: a 1-year-old girl, an 8-year-old boy, and a 22-year-old woman. FOX59 said the woman told the outlet around 6:30 p.m. that her children were safe, though their connection to Rippy remains unclear.
