INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A battalion chief with the Indianapolis Fire Department (IFD) died on his way to work Saturday.
IFD officials on Saturday announced that IFD Battalion Chief Barry Riddle died on his way to work. Riddle, 62, was the chief for Battalion 4 C Shift, and has served at IFD since Feb. 25, 1986. He was a member of IFD Recruit Class #58.
