New Bill Would Require Indiana Schools To Display Ten Commandments

A new bill would require every school in Indiana to display the Ten Commandments in classrooms and libraries.

House Bill 1086, authored by State Rep. Michelle Davis (R-58) and co-authored by Reps. J.D. Prescott, Hunter Smith, and Jake Teshka, says schools must “place a durable poster or framed picture representing the text of the Ten Commandments in each school library and classroom.”

The bill is set to be filed when the Indiana General Assembly meets next week…
