Two Indy women accused of neglecting mentally challenged man to get his inheritance

INDIANAPOLIS — Two Indianapolis women are in jail accused of neglecting a mentally challenged man.

According to court records, the man who owns a home on Villa Avenue called police because he was concerned for the victim’s well-being. The landlord told police he believed the suspects were only caring for the victim to try and steal his inheritance.

Police were first called to the home in mid-December, before returning to the home this week to arrest the two suspects. IMPD claims they found a man living in filthy conditions…
