INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man has been found guilty after a 12-year-old reported that he molested her several times over the course of six years.
According to court documents filed in Marion County, Cameron Whorton was found guilty of four counts of child molesting, each a Level 1 felony, and two counts of child molesting, each a Level 4 felony, after a one-day court trial.
In December 2024, a child molesting investigation began after a 12-year-old reportedly told law enforcement she had been sexually assaulted multiple times by a man, later identified as Whorton, between October 2018 and November 2024.

The girl reportedly said during an interview that Whorton would touch her inappropriately and forced the child to do sexual acts once her mom fell asleep. The documents said that the girl told law enforcement she wanted to call out for her mom when the acts happened, but “she did not want to wake her up.”…
