Three people dead following vehicle crash in Indiana

INDIANA — Three people were killed in a head-on crash Wednesday afternoon in Madison County, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies said the crash occurred around 3:43 p.m. in the 5500 block of South State Route 67 near Pendleton. Investigators believe a black Nissan Titan was traveling northbound on SR 67 when it crossed into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

The male driver and female passenger in the Nissan were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Jeep, also described as a male, was transported to a hospital in Anderson, where he later died…
