Inmate found dead in cell at Marion County jail, no foul play suspected

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A female inmate being held in the Marion County jail died of natural causes Thursday morning, according to a release from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say they found Jacqueline Denise Sublett, 58, unresponsive in her cell at 6:10 a.m. Thursday.

The deputies and medics rendered aid to Sublett, though she was later pronounced dead at 6:52 p.m. Investigators believe that the death was due to natural causes and no foul play is suspected…
