1 killed in triple shooting on Indy’s far east side

INDIANAPOLIS – An investigation is underway after one man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting on the far east side of Indianapolis Sunday morning.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, around 12:42 a.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of Pointe Club Road on the report of a person shot.

When officers arrived on scene, they located three people with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. Investigators said one man died of their injuries, a second was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, and a juvenile was reported to be in stable condition…
