Schools, businesses across central Indiana announce closures for Tuesday as Hoosiers continue to dig out of weekend snow

INDIANAPOLIS — Schools, businesses, churches and government agencies across central Indiana have already begun to announce closures for Tuesday.

FOX59/CBS4 has been tracking hundreds of local closures since snow began to fall across the Hoosier State Saturday night. As of 10:50 p.m. Monday, more than 350 organizations had indicated they plan to be closed on Tuesday.

The closures come as Hoosiers continue to try to dig out from this weekend’s snowfall. Reports sent to FOX59/CBS4 indicate as much as 15 inches of snow fell from Saturday night to Sunday evening in points south of Indianapolis like Columbus. In Indianapolis, 11 inches of snow were observed…
