Former IMPD officer found guilty of child molesting in Hendricks County

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. — A former Indianapolis police officer has been convicted of a slew of sex crimes involving a child in Hendricks County.

Kamal Bola, who was a six-year veteran of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, has been found guilty of the following counts:

  • Child Molesting (Level 1 Felony)
  • Child Molesting (Level 4 Felony)
  • Sexual Misconduct with a Minor (Level 4 Felony)
  • Sexual Misconduct with a Minor (Level 6 Felony)
  • Voyeurism (Level 6 Felony)
  • Obstruction of Justice (Level 6 Felony)

The only original charge that Bola was not found guilty of was a Level 4 felony count for child molesting.
