Johnson County breaks ground on new Indiana DNR headquarters

NINEVEH, Ind. (WISH) — Gov. Mike Braun on Thursday joined a group of people to break ground in southern Johnson County on a new headquarters for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement District 6.

The $800,000 project was designed to support conservation officers across nine central Indiana counties — Bartholomew, Brown, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Monroe, Morgan, and Shelby — while achieving cost savings through interagency collaboration.
