Indianapolis, Indiana – A shift toward a wetter, more springlike weather pattern is expected across Indiana beginning Tuesday, February 10, as the 8–14-day outlook points to above-average precipitation and temperatures running warmer than typical mid-February levels through Monday, February 16. The pattern favors rain over snow and raises concerns for repeated wet periods and water-related travel issues.
According to the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, much of the Midwest, including Indiana, is favored to see above-average precipitation during the February 10–16 window.
