Early morning fire damages Indianapolis restaurant

Fire destroys south side restaurant

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis firefighters say no one was injured in a fire that happened early Wednesday on the city’s south side.

Crews from the Indianapolis Fire Department responded just after 2:30 a.m. to Hot Pot Lovers, an Asian restaurant at the intersection of Southport and Bluff roads near I-69.

Investigators say they are not sure how the fire started, but there is damage to the restaurant and minor smoke damage to a small international grocery store next door…
