It started with an Instagram page. Created by freshman Bre’auna Catlin and run by herself and others, this was where students began planning to exercise their First Amendment rights.
“I started it with my friend Jasmin. We were discussing it and we said ‘Yeah, we should totally start an account.’ So I made the account, and I gave the password to her, and we just started making different plans and ideas for it,” said Catlin.
Catlin and freshman Jasmin Taylor wanted to draw attention to what ICE has been doing in other cities and the fact that ICE is in Indianapolis, so they decided to plan their own protest…
