INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A “violent fugitive” wanted for child molestation in Indianapolis was captured in Texas after fleeing to San Antonio, the FBI said in a news release issued Wednesday.
37-year-old Adan Sarmiento was arrested on Feb. 4 at a Motel 6 in south San Antonio. Police say the motel is located adjacent to a bus line that provides service to Mexico.
The arrest was part of Operation No Escape, an FBI-led initiative to find and arrest violent fugitives, regardless of where they are wanted or where they attempt to flee. More than 100 officers were involved in the operation of arresting Sarmiento…
