According to GasBuddy, several states, including Indiana, have a pattern when it comes to gas prices that is known as “price cycling.” They say that with price cycling, prices often “reset” sharply higher on a specific day, then slowly decline over the next several days before the next spike. The best day to save money on gas will come five to seven days after a price jump.
