10 sentenced to prison for drug trafficking across Indiana

Ten drug dealers handed lengthy federal prison sentences

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Ten people have been sentenced to federal prison for their roles in a large-scale drug trafficking operation that moved fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine across Indiana, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Tuesday.

Joshua Kendall, 44, of Indianapolis, was identified as the leader of the network and received a 33-year prison sentence for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances. Kendall reportedly used threats to control subordinates who carried out his directives.

The multicounty operation spanned Indianapolis, Muncie and Terre Haute between October 2022 and November 2023. A news release issued Tuesday from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Indianapolis said the organization was responsible for distributing at least 238 pounds of methamphetamine, about 8 pounds of fentanyl and about 13 pounds of cocaine…
