16-year-old charged after firing shots at SWAT during east side police shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Prosecutors have filed charges against a 16-year-old boy after he reportedly fired shots at SWAT officers during a police shooting on Saturday.

The charges were filed Wednesday in Marion Superior Court 30.

Jamar Neil, 16, has been charged as an adult with dangerous possession of a firearm and criminal recklessness. He appeared in court for an initial hearing on Thursday morning…
