Indianapolis man sentenced for leaving child in hot car at Greenwood Park Mall

FRANKLIN, Ind. — An Indianapolis man was sentenced Friday after he pleaded guilty to leaving a child inside a hot car last June.

Carson Collins, 24, was sentenced to two years in prison on Feb. 27 after he pleaded guilty to felony neglect of a dependent. Additionally, Collins also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended and was sentenced to serve one year on probation following his release from prison.
