River otters return shows conservation progress

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — River otters could once again be calling Eagle Creek Park home, according to evidence found by a professional animal tracker.

Tracker, Nathan Young, first spotted the tracks last October. Park officials were keeping the news quiet until they could gather more evidence and avoid attracting too many people looking for them.

The Earth Discovery Center at Eagle Creek Park posted pictures of tracks on Facebook in February.
