Three people arrested after robbing armored vehicle in Indiana

INDIANA — Three men have been arrested following the reported robbery of an armored vehicle Monday morning in Kokomo, according to police.

Officers with the Kokomo Police Department responded just after 9:30 a.m. on March 16 to the Financial Builders Credit Union in the 2800 block of South Lafountain Street after receiving a report of a robbery.

Police said an employee of the armored vehicle was pepper sprayed in the face during the incident. The suspects then took an undetermined amount of money. The employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment and later released…
