Wisconsin traffic stop yields significant amount of cocaine and 2 from out-of-state apprehended

Over 145 grams of cocaine were seized during a traffic check in western Wisconsin, which resulted in the arrest of an Indiana man and a man from Illinois.

According to deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began with a traffic stop on a car without headlights at 8:20 p.m. on March 18. The vehicle was stopped on I-94 near Tomah.

Probable cause was apparently established during the check for drugs in the vehicle, prompting a search that found 145.5 grams of cocaine…
