HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. — The Hendricks County Prosecutors Office announced in a news release that 39-year-old Curtis Cutler, of Plainfield, Ind., was sentenced to 50 years in the Indiana Department of Correction following a two-day jury trial.
Cutler was found guilty of attempted murder, aggravated battery, unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon and criminal recklessness.
According to the news release, what began as a road rage incident escalated when Cutler fired multiple rounds into a vehicle, striking a woman who was 29 weeks pregnant in the back.
