Indianapolis man convicted in deadly mass shooting inside Broad Ripple bar

INDIANAPOLIS — A jury found an Indianapolis man guilty for a deadly mass shooting inside a since-closed Broad Ripple bar in March 2024.

Following a three-day jury trial, Nicholas Fulk, 27, was convicted of murder, aggravated battery and four counts of battery by means of a deadly weapon.

“This was a horrific and completely preventable act of violence that rocked our community and took the life of Timothy Brown Jr.,” Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears said in a news release. “Alcohol and firearms are a dangerous and deadly combination that we see far too often in our bars and bar districts. Our focus remains where it belongs— on the victims, their families, and securing justice that reflects the magnitude of these crimes.”…
