Thousands without power in Indiana

INDIANA — More than 2,000 customers across Indiana are without electricity as of Saturday afternoon, according to data from PowerOutage.us.

Statewide, approximately 2,081 homes and businesses are reported without power out of more than 3.26 million customers tracked, representing about 0.06% of customers. Indiana ranks among the top states in the country for outages, placing fifth nationwide and fourth in terms of the percentage of customers affected.

The highest number of outages was reported in Wabash County, where about 1,518 customers were without power—roughly 8.6% of the county’s tracked customers, making it the hardest-hit area in the state…
