Gas tax hike hits Hoosiers already paying $4 a gallon

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Gas prices in Indiana will rise again on April 1 due to an increase in state sales tax.

The tax will go up to 17.2 cents per gallon. This is up two cents from March.
