GREENWOOD, Ind. — The Artemis II crew is back on Earth tonight after plummeting into the atmosphere at nearly 25,000 miles per hour. The safe ending to the mission was thanks in part to the help of Jack Tichenor.
The 25-year-old Greenwood native is a U.S. Navy diver. He and his team were in the water extracting the astronauts after they splashed down into the Pacific Ocean.
