INDIANAPOLIS — A crash forced officials to temporarily close a portion of Interstate 465 on the south side of Indianapolis Tuesday night.
According to a notification from the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash happened on I-465 westbound sometime before 10:31 p.m. Per INDOT, the mile marker the crash occurred at is 0.0. Mile marker 0.0 is located near the interchange for I-465 and Interstate 65.
INDOT has indicated that Indiana State Police are investigating the crash. ISP reported that a semi hauling multiple cars overturned during the crash.
State police have indicated that at least one person was injured in the crash. The exact number and nature of injuries the crash caused are still unknown…
